Teams playing in the tournament:
USD-17 (2-3)-Saturday @ 3pm
San Diego St-22 (2-1) @SDST 8pm-Friday
Cal Poly Mustangs (2-1) @SDST 1pm-Sunday
Cal Bears (2-0-1) @ SDST @ 3pm-Friday
This is a very strong tournament the team is playing in with great pitching. The Mizzou offense was out in full force last weekend, so if they can keep that up, I am not too worried. Aaron Crow and Kyle Gibson were very strong in their two outings last week. Rick Zagone struggled a bit, but I expect him come back strong this weekend. Lets hope Scooter Hicks bounces back strong this weekend from his outing against UCF. He finished strong last year, so I am not too worried about him.
Mizzou has a double header Friday against Cal and San Diego. I am not sure how Jamieson will set the rotation for Friday. I kind of have the feeling that Crow will pitch the night cap to keep things in order and then go Zagone on Saturday and then Gibson Sunday morning. That will be interesting to see how he decides to set the order.
